Dr. Jessica Ann McCabe, D.O. - Medical Director
Education:
Dr. McCabe is a board certified physician with a keen interest in esthetic medicine. She went to medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated in 1998. She then completed an internship year and an anesthesiology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Her undergraduate work was done at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida earning a BS in Cellular & Molecular Biology with magna cum laude honors..
Certifications:
She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Physicians with this certification have completed a minimum of four years of training following medical school, including a residency program. After training, a physician must pass comprehensive written and oral exams before earning certification. Dr McCabe has also taken and passed the United States Medical Licensing Exams and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Exams. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Professional Recognition:
Dr. McCabe worked as a solo practitioner and with Asheville Anesthesia Associates as Medical Director at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, North Carolina for six years. At Haywood Regional, she was a member of numerous surgical improvement and operating room oversight committees. She currently works as an anesthesiologist with Emory Specialty Associates and is credentialed at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and several outpatient surgical centers.Exams.
As an osteopathic physician, she is an advocate for overall well being—both inward and outward. She is interested in preventive health, lifestyle modification, and weight reduction. Dr. McCabe has been trained and certified in body sculpting using laser-assisted liposuction which is done in the spa or office setting and is a much less invasive technique with shorter recovery time than traditional liposuction. She is committed to customizing solutions for her client’s individual needs. She is a proponent of esthetic health and wellness and works very hard to ensure her client’s satisfaction.
